The Spanish Federation of Campsites (FEEC) has launched the Experiences Campings Spain project, so that camping customers can enjoy the best of our country, with the freedom to choose how and when.
Experiences Campings Spain will boost the competitiveness of the camping sector by designing and implementing personalized and unique tourism experiences at campsites, which have a positive social impact on the territories.
Experiences Campings Spain will connect campsites in Spain with different customer segments, allowing them to organize and plan their trips based on thematic areas such as Wine Tourism, Gastronomy, Cyclotourism, or Active Tourism, choosing accommodations and activities by region.
In Experiencias Campings Spain, we work on different lines of action:
Bringing together and strengthening the network of stakeholders in the camping ecosystem in Spain, fostering their collaboration to achieve common goals.
Designing Experiencias Campings Spain as the most competitive value proposition, based on sustainable and experiential differentiated products.
Developing Digital Marketing tools to promote the Experiences (web platform, social media communication, training, etc.).
As a result, the campgrounds in Spain:
They will be together in a project of common interest, participating in a project that will strengthen the network of stakeholders in Campings Spain and lay the groundwork for future collaborations
Pilot projects of Experiencias Campings Spain, which they may continue to develop in the future.
They will have tools to make their campgrounds more sustainable and inclusive and will receive training for it.
They will have a Communication and Digital Marketing Strategy, a website to promote Experiencias Campings Spain, and digital marketing materials.
They will boost their digital transformation, receiving training and tools to better manage their processes and customers.
“ A camping tourism experience is a set of experiences that tourists enjoy while staying at campgrounds in Spain.
Camping Experiences are the result of enjoying campgrounds and their services, combined with the development of activities in their surroundings, such as guided tours to tourist landmarks and monuments, cycling or hiking routes to unique places, visits to food and beverage establishments, or outdoor activities to observe the local flora and fauna.
All experiences have a distinctive and immersive approach.
Experiences are designed according to national tourist segments of interest (such as wine tourism, family tourism, active tourism, or gastronomy) and involve cooperation between campgrounds and other agents offering activities and services.
Experiencias Campings España is part of the Spain Tourism Experiences Program, initiated by the State Secretariat for Tourism, within the framework of the Modernization and Competitiveness Plan for the tourism sector (Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan), funded with Next Generation EU funds from the European Union
